Can you diagnose my generator?
Not remotely. Our troubleshooting guides cover the most common problems, from a generator that won’t start to one that keeps tripping the breaker. For anything beyond those, a small-engine repair shop or the manufacturer is the right next step.
Which generator should I buy?
We don’t sell anything, and no manufacturer pays for coverage here. Start with the load calculator to total what you want to run, then the size calculator to turn that into a rating. Our buying guide explains what to compare.
How do I report incorrect information?
Use the form above and choose “Report an error or outdated information”. Include the page address and, if you can, a manufacturer specification or code reference we can check.
I have a copyright concern. What should I do?
Choose “Copyright or content removal” in the form, or follow the steps in our DMCA and copyright policy, which lists what to include so we can act quickly.
